Schopfloch/ Bad Oeynhausen, 03.03.2022: The HOMAG Group and Karl Heesemann Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG have been working together successfully for several years and in many markets. The two companies have now agreed on an even more extensive cooperation. HOMAG's goal is clear: to continue to provide customers with powerful solutions and a comprehensive range of grinding machines.
The size of HOMAG's product portfolio has increased significantly in recent years. At the same time, high demand from a wide range of customer segments and growth areas requires a pooling of resources in R&D and production. That is why HOMAG has decided to discontinue in-house development and production of wide belt sanders. However, the strategic goal remains to cover the entire woodworking process chain, which of course includes sanding. Instead of using our own HOMAG solutions, Heesemann is now providing them.

In order to continue to cover the entire process chain, Heesemann will expand its grinding machine portfolio and offer consistent solutions for all segments in the future: from entry-level to high-end solutions. For entry-level machines in particular, Heesemann draws on HOMAG's know-how — HOMAG and Heesemann will also work closely together in the sales and service network.

HOMAG will of course continue to provide and offer the service (hotline, on-site service and spare parts) of the grinding machines delivered under BÜTFERING and HOMAG. Heesemann will provide the appropriate service for the grinding machines to be delivered by Heesemann in the future.
