Wood has been one of humanity’s most important and versatile renewable resources for thousands of years. Beyond its excellent workability, wood stands out for its unique aesthetic qualities and the atmosphere it creates. Its ease of processing, combined with comparatively low energy consumption during harvesting and manufacturing, makes wood particularly favorable from an ecological perspective. A sustainably managed forest provides a habitat for thousands of animal and plant species while also serving as a place of recreation for people. Its role in climate protection is substantial: as a natural air purifier, water filter, and carbon sink, forests make a significant contribution to mitigating global warming.
As a manufacturer of sanding machines, we naturally have a deep passion for wood, and the responsible, sustainable use of this valuable raw material is especially important to us. What could be more fitting than planting trees ourselves? This idea gave rise to the Heesemann Forest.

Paperless machine documentation So far, we have planted 1,750 trees and continue to expand this commitment on an ongoing basis.
Paperless machine documentation As standard, we donate the surcharge for paper-based documentation in full to a sustainability project and use it to plant additional trees.

Reduction of power consumption of our machines by being able to lock the number of maximum active units. This measure has no effect on the safety of the machine and is suitable for reducing the connection load if the customer's machine connections do not have sufficient capacity.
The EMS (Energy Management System) from Heesemann is an energy saving system that benefits both our environment and our customers. Reduced energy consumption relieves our environment and reduces costs. If no workpieces flow into the sanding machine, the drive motors of the sanding units, which are designed in the highest energy efficiency class, are shut down in speed.EMS (Energy-The Energy Management System (EMS) from Heesemann is an energy-saving solution designed to benefit both the environment and our customers. Reduced energy consumption helps protect the environment while simultaneously lowering operating costs. When no workpieces are fed into the sanding machine, the drive motors of the sanding units—engineered to the highest energy efficiency class—are automatically slowed down.
At the same time, a flap on the suction fan is closed to significantly reduce the air flow rate. Depending on workload, this significantly reduces the energy consumption of the sanding machine. When new workpieces are brought in, all motors are quickly restarted.
